I bought one of Nina Gore’s art pieces to brighten up a blank wall in my office. I like the fact that it is totally unique. It is also striking with its intricacy and has become a real conversation piece. I am especially impressed it has been done free-hand in this age when computers do everything!

Henna patterns are beautiful, but you can only appreciate them for a few days, as they soon fade when applied onto the skin. Nina’s art pieces have taken the essence of traditional henna designs and contemporised them, allowing us to appreciate the patterns for a long time.

I love that Nina’s henna paintings allow us to take in the beauty of traditional patterns without invading anyone’s privacy by having to stare at their hands or feet! The scale of her art-work brings a new dimension too, as the normal “screen” for henna application is as small as a person’s hands.
